Counselling Solutions recognises that Organisations and Professionals are adopting a planned and structured approach to professional training.
Continuing Professional Development (CPD) obligations are common to most professions and help to maintain, develop or increase knowledge and skills. CPD is often linked to registration or re-registration to practice, demonstrating an individual’s commitment to competent performance and can involve any relevant learning activity, whether formal and structured or informal and self-directed.
Counselling Solutions can provide a range of cost effective bespoke trainings and workshops which are based on the needs of the Organisation to help support, develop, enhance and maintain the skills and experiences of professionals and key workers. All trainings and workshops combine theory and practice (experiential) to meet different learning styles. Our aim is to extend and increase the skills, knowledge and self-awareness of professionals and frontline staff working with children, young people and adults. Examples include: Attachment Theory, Introduction to Neuroscience, Basic Counselling Skills, Supervision Skills, Creating through Play, Projective Drawings, Clay, Sandtray, Team Building.
These courses are accredited by PTUK/PTI and are for Practitioners who are working with Children, Young People and Adults. Each is 3 days (21 hours) CPD at £300.00 including materials, beverages and light lunch.
