Counselling Solutions recognises that Organisations and Professionals are adopting a planned and structured approach to professional training. We can provide a range of cost effective bespoke trainings which are based on the needs of the Organisation, to help support, develop, enhance and maintain the skills and experiences of professionals and key workers. All trainings combine theory and practice (experiential) to meet different learning styles
As a training provider Counselling Solutions also hosts professional speakers working within specialist fields, as a resource for continuing professional development for those interested in extending and enhancing their skills and knowledge base.

Counselling Children and Adolescents: A Creative Approach (Accredited by Play Therapy UK: PTUK)
This is a unique course offering specialist skills to professionals and key workers who are working alongside children and adolescents between 4-18 years of age, and will equip the learner to gain skills and knowledge in how to work therapeutically with children and adolescents.
Counselling Children and Adolescents: A Creative Approach has been designed as a QCF (Qualification Credit Framework) level 3 programme of study and is accredited by PTUK
The course has been designed to prepare learners for accessing further specialist studies. The minimum age of entry for the course is 21 years and learners must hold a current CRB check.
Course Duration: 120 hours of teaching (two options available).
Option One: 34 x 3 hour weekly sessions plus 3 play days (6 hours each)
Option Two: 24 days (6 hours each)
Commencement:
Option One: Next intake September 2012
Option Two: Throughout the year (tailored to the specific needs of the Organisation)
Award: PTUK Certificate: Counselling Children & Adolescents: A Creative Approach
