Dr Margot Sunderland is a Child Psychologist and is Director of The Centre for Child Mental Health. She is an award winning author and wrote the internationally acclaimed book, “The Science of Parenting”.
The Workshop:
The workshop will provide an understanding of the impact of trauma and loss on children/young people. Dr Sunderland will address the effects of developmental trauma, what happens to the brain and how to heal the child’s traumatised mind. She will also explore the science and psychology of traumatic symptoms: dissociation, agitation, re-victimisation.

Louise Bomber is a teacher, therapist, trainer and author of the critically acclaimed and best-selling book “Inside I’m Hurting”.
The Workshop:
This workshop will provide an understanding of how children are at risk of being misunderstood and at worse excluded from school, offering strategies to support children to settle and learn to make the most of opportunities that school can offer.
Cost: Each workshop event is £125.00. Lunch and beverages are provided and free car parking is on site.
